About Acupuncture
Acupuncture has been performed for thousands of years, originating in China and now practised worldwide. The traditional teachings are based upon the idea that our health is affected by not just disease but by our lifestyle, our constitution and our emotions. As a result of this, Chinese Medicine looks at the whole person and through questioning and feedback, practitioner and patient work together towards a healthier self. This means that two people can come in with the same complaint but their treatments will be completely different.
Once a treatment plan has been put together and points have been chosen. The practitioner inserts thin and delicate needles into acupuncture points around the body. As well as needles; moxibustion, cups, Gua Sha and Tui na may also be used.

I qualified with a Bachelor of Science from the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. The course integrates Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, which has provided me with the tools to approach treatment on both a physical and emotional level.
Using this formula, I will work with you to approach any complaints you have and provide a unique treatment plan catered to you and your needs. Through questioning and feedback, we work together to gain a better understanding of your body and how we can create balance within. This is one of my favourite aspects to Chinese Medicine, every patient is unique and every patient is offered insights into how their body is communicating with them.

Within treatment I use questioning, pulse and tongue diagnosis, needles, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, electro - acupuncture and tuina. I will explain everything I am doing and will ask for feedback from you as we progress.
As we will be in close proximity with one another it might be nice for you to know a little about me; I love early mornings, the first coffee of the day and spending time with family. If I am not eating or asleep, you will find me off on adventures in my van Beryl, trail running and wild swimming. But this is not about me, its about you and how we can make you feel better within yourself. I look forward to meeting you.
Facial Enhancement Acupuncture
Facial enhancement acupuncture or cosmetic acupuncture, works with the ancient Chinese methods to provide an anti ageing treatment. By inserting small needles into the body and face, we are stimulating collagen and elastin production, increasing circulation and helping to improve muscle tone. This will provide the patient with fewer wrinkles, a brighter complexion and an overall lifting of the face.
We incorporate body points to help you feel revitalised inside as well as out.

This beautiful clinic set in the idyllic village of Kemerton has been established for years. There is street parking available and a cosy waiting room or a café around the corner if you're early. I work out of this location on a Monday and a Wednesday and on request the occasional Thursday.
Sally Connelly's Acupuncture Room
11 Keynsham Street, Cheltenham. GL52 6EJ
This warm and inviting room is situated within Sally's home, not far from Cheltenham high street. There is free street parking right outside the house and as its Sally's home there is no waiting room on the premises. There is however a lovely coffee shop at the end of the road, if you are early and want to pass some time before the appointment. I work out of this room on a Friday.
Pricing
Although changes can be seen instantly, as practitioners we ask that you give us around 5 - 6 sessions. This allows time for the treatments to really take hold and for me to be sure we are on the right path and to enable any lifestyle changes we have addressed to kick in.
Our bodies are fantastic at adapting through adversity, which means some of our complaints may be years in the making. I ask that you allow me the time to address this.
Initial Acupuncture consultation - £50
1-1.5 hours
This session is about me getting to know you. We will spend a lot of the time talking so that I can have a thorough understanding of both yourself and how your complaint is manifesting. Once that has been done I can give you your first treatment.
Follow up treatment - £40
45 mins / 1 hour
These sessions will be based around the treatment plan that I will put together after our initial consultation. Through feedback as well as physical and emotional changes, we will assess the ongoing treatment to ensure we are on the right path.
Pricing for
Facial Enhancement Acupuncture
Although changes can often be seen after the first treatment, a course of 10 treatments at weekly intervals is advised for the best results.
Initial Facial Enhancement Consultation - £80
1.5 / 2 hours
This session is about identifying your concerns and understanding how your body and mind are interacting with your lifestyle. Understanding this will help me to choose body and facial points that will best suit you, to get the most out of the treatment. This treatment involves a lot more needles than a normal acupuncture session, but the majority of them are intradermal and so are very small.
After you have been given time to relax with the needles in, they will be removed and you will be given a revitalising facial massage using high quality serums and creams.
Follow up facial treatment - £60
1.5 hours
These sessions will be based around the information gathered on the initial consultation. I will continue to collect feedback and together we will assess the changes to ensure we are working towards the desired changes. As with the initial consultation you will receive both body and facial acupuncture followed by a facial massage using high quality serums and creams.
